Russian singer and Duma Deputy Iosif Kobzon, which is under sanctions of the West because of the support of Pro-Russian militants “DNR/LNR”, called Russian artists to ignore the song contest “Eurovision-2017” in Ukrainian Kiev. This was reported by the Agency TASS.

“I am categorically opposed to speak to an audience that will rusofobstvo and humiliate the dignity of my country, of my colleagues. Therefore we must categorically ignore the holiday”, – said Russian MP, calling Ukraine a country which “destroys people.”

“Let the players, who turned out to be unnecessary neither here nor there, Prikhodko and Maksakova, let them rejoice that they are there,” added Kobzon, referring to artito, critical related to the aggression of Russia against Ukraine.

Note that the “Eurovision 2016” won the Ukrainian singer Jamal with his song about the deportation of Crimean Tatars by the Soviet authorities. According to the rules, the next competition will be held at the home of the winner.
