Vitali Klitschko – in the Hall of fame!

The outstanding Ukrainian master of leather gloves, former world champion in the heavyweight Vitali Klitschko is the first of our countrymen included in the Boxing Hall of fame (IBHOF).

About the event yesterday received a message from the press service of the organization. The same honor was awarded two more former Champions Erik Morales and Winky Wright.

This decision was taken by the voting members of the Association of Boxing observers and the International Council of historians of Boxing.

The ceremony of the inclusion of three new members of the Hall of fame will be held June 7-10, 2018 in the town of Canastota (United States).

Recall that during his professional career Vitali Klitschko held 47 fights in the ring and achieved them 45 wins. He owned world titles: WBO (1999-2000) and WBC (2004-2005, 2008-2013).

After learning about this event, Vitali Klitschko announced known in the Boxing world edition of ESPN: “This is the dream of many boxers to become a member of the Hall of fame. Thought about the Hall of fame, but never expected that one fine day you will be in the company of legends, which has always been my examples. Such as Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and many world famous boxers. For me it is a great honor.”
