According to him, the upward trend in complaints for the financial companies connected with the accessibility of Ukrainians in these financial institution loans, including online.

“One of the reasons (increase in the number of complaints about the operation of financial companies – ed) – great opportunity to choose from more than a thousand companies providing such services, of which more than a hundred companies working online. It is the availability of such services leads to the fact that uninformed consumers take these loans without understanding the consequences,” – said a member of the financial services Commission.

As previously reported, the financial services Commission in the second quarter of 2019, entered 2455 appeals of individuals and legal entities on issues related to activities of insurance companies, 36 cases, or 1.5 per cent, less than in the same period of the previous year.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2019 adopted the law on “split”, involving the elimination of the national Commission for state regulation of markets of financial services and the division of its functions between the NBU and the national Commission on securities and stock market (NKTSBFR).
