Ukrainian team defeated Finland (2:1) in the qualifying match of the 2018 world Cup in group I.

Goals in the Ukrainians were noted Yevhen Konoplyanka and Artem Besedin.

The only goal for the Finns scored Joel Pohjanpalo.

Ukraine has climbed to second place in the standings with 11 points.

Finland remained in fifth position, having one point.
