The national Bank said that this year with the deposits and cash outside banks
The national Bank predicts this year growth of the monetary base by 6.3% and Bank deposits by 12.9%.
The national Bank predicts growth of the monetary base in Ukraine in 2017 6.3% due to increase of cash in circulation and correspondent accounts of banks.
This is stated in the published on the website of the NBU, the inflation report for April, according to which the growth of the monetary mass in the current year is expected to reach 10.7 per cent. The national Bank predicts that the growth of deposits in banks amount to 12.9% and exceeds the growth of cash outside banks, expected at 5.2%. In 2018-2019, the national Bank predicts growth of the monetary mass by 13% and 12%, respectively.
The growth of the monetary base during this period will be 8% and 7% respectively.
As reported, the volume of monetary base in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2017 declined by 6 .5% to 356,914 billion UAH, the volume of the monetary mass – by 2.6%, to 1,074 trillion UAH.
