International charitable Fund of Vadim Novinsky (MBF) in honor of the Holy virgin in 2018 sent on humanitarian and charity projects more than 195,5 million. As it is noted that in the past year, with the financial support of the Foundation were implemented charitable projects in the field of historical and cultural heritage, health, protection of motherhood, childhood, families. He also became a co-organizer of festivals, conferences, competitions and other events.
One of the activities of the Fund is to support shelter for children-orphans with Benenson Voznesensky monastery. There are living and raising more than 400 children-orphans, including children with disabilities and serious diseases, including HIV. This project over three years, and the monthly Fund provides assistance for the maintenance of the shelter. In 2018, it amounted to more than UAH 16 million. For many years, the Fund is a co-organizer of the annual international festival of Orthodox movie “Pokrov”. In 2018, the festival was held from 8 to 12 October at the National Opera of Ukraine named. In the framework of target program “Cultural heritage” in 2018, continued the traditional work in the revival and maintenance of national cultural and Orthodox monuments. In particular, there were financed the activities for construction, restoration and preservation of more than 50 architectural religious facilities amounting to more than 38 million UAH. Temples, churches, chapels, monasteries, orphanages and the elderly in almost all regions of Ukraine. One of the major projects of the program “Cultural heritage” – the reconstruction of the Temple in honor of the Holy Trinity on Trinity square in Kiev, an object with three centuries of history that existed on the site until 1931, Financing of works on restoration of the Shrine in 2018 amounted to 89,4 million UAH.
Also in the field of health care in 2018, continued implementation of the national program “Help your heart beat”, in which 59 children with congenital heart disease received cardiac treatment at the heart Institute of the MOH of Ukraine. The Foundation supported a project of the Heart Institute, “mobile teams”, through which in many regions of Ukraine was implemented for the preliminary diagnosis of cardiac ailments in children. Total budget for the programme in 2018 amounted to more than 9.5 million UAH. Expanded significantly in the 2018 program for the rehabilitation of children and young people with cerebral palsy and organic lesions of the nervous system that is implemented on the basis of the International rehabilitation clinic of prof. So, in 2018, the course of rehabilitation were more than 100 people from all over Ukraine. In 2019, the rehabilitation program of cerebral palsy and lesions of the nervous system will be expanded. The Foundation plans to help 250 patients.
International charitable Foundation in honor of Intercession of the Holy virgin was established in 2008 on the initiative of businessman Vadim Novinsky.
The Foundation aims at the education of future generations on the principles of the Orthodox faith, strengthening the family and increasing significance of family values in society and the preservation of cultural and historical heritage, support of health and comprehensive development of education. In 2017, the Fund directed to projects of over UAH 65 million.
