A significant amount of budget expenditures will be directed at addressing the security challenges.
Among the priorities of the draft EU budget for 2018, creation of jobs for young people, strengthen security, and address the migration crisis.
This is stated in a statement released on Tuesday by the European Commission budget proposals for 2018.
“The European Commission proposes the draft budget for 2018 with a volume of 161 billion euros of financial liabilities. Among the main priorities – job creation, especially for young people, the promotion economic growth and strategic investments,” said a leading EU institutions.
Also, a significant amount of budget expenditures will be directed at addressing the security challenges, in particular regarding the migration crisis. In this regard, measures to combat illegal migration will be financed within the EU and in the neighbouring regions .
