The case of the attack on Mikitaka Chairman of the village Council sent to the court

Investigators of the State Bureau of investigation sent to the court indictment against a Deputy of Ukraine of the VIII convocation (group “will of the people”), businessman Maxim Mikitas, who is suspected in the attack of the Chairman of the village Council in the village of ljubech Chernihiv region.
As the press service of the RRG, a procedural guide pre-judicial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by the attorney General’s Office.
Ex-MP accused of committing hooliganism (part 1 of article 296 of the Criminal code of Ukraine). In the case of evidence of guilt, the accused faces a penalty of a fine from 500 to 1000 free minima of the income of citizens or arrest for up to 6 months, or restraint of liberty for a term up to 5 years.
As reported, on 5 July 2019, the people’s Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation, during the campaign for the extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada, in the premises of the village Council S. liubich repkinsky district, Chernihiv region caused slight injury to the Chairman of the GSS. 24 Sep Mikitas was notified of the suspicion under article of the Criminal code on hooliganism in connection with the incident in the summer of conflict with the head of the United territorial community, village Liubech repkinsky district, Chernihiv region Sergey Pinchuk.
“Remember the story of how in July of this year the people’s Deputy broke into the meeting of the village Council in Chernihiv. Then there were registered proceedings on the fact of hooliganism. Today the former Deputy reported about suspicion in Commission of a criminal offense under part 1 of article 296 of the Criminal code of Ukraine”, – wrote the Director of RRT Pipe in his “Telegrams kalale”.
He did not name the MP, but earlier, local media had widely covered the incident saying that the Prince was a clash between the MP and the candidate on the district No. 206 Mikitsey and the Chairman of the local GSS Pinchuk.
Held on July 19, parliamentary elections Mikitas stood as the independent candidate on the district No. 206 in Chernihiv region, but lost to the candidate from the party “servant of the people”.
