Cycling is becoming increasingly popular for movement, exercise and rest, and its impact on sexual health has received a great attention from the media, especially in relation to erectile function.

In a new report in the journal “The Journal of Urology,” researchers found that, contrary to some previous research, that even intense Cycling, apparently, does not negatively impact sexual and urinary function in men.

“This is the largest comparative study to date studying different categories of cyclists and their sexual and urinary function using questionnaires, explained lead researcher Dr Benjamin Breyer (Breyer Benjamin) of the Department of urology, University of California, San Francisco. – We believe that the results will be encouraging for cyclists. Cycling is useful for the cardiovascular system. And has little effect on the joints. We believe that the health benefits enjoyed by cyclists who follow the rules of safety, will be very beneficial to health.”
