In January-February 2017 real wages compared to the corresponding period of 2016 increased by 19.7%.
Such steady tendency of growth of social standards ensures a gradual rise in real incomes and restore its purchasing power. This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva, the press service of the Ministry.
During the last and current year provided the increase of social standards at a faster pace compared to the inflation index.
With the increase in the consumer price index in January-February 2017 compared to the corresponding period in 2016 13.9%, average wage growth amounted to 136.8%, he said.
So, in 2016 this increase was 16.1%, while growth in consumer prices was 12.4%. In 2017 will be provided with the social standards of 10.1%.
