The Chairman of the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Arthur Gerasimov explained why the Ukrainian leader refused to meet with participating in a protest by the deputies.

In particular, in the negotiations with Poroshenko wanted to take part, the representative of the faction “Freedom” Yuri Levchenko and non-faction MP Yuriy Derevyanko.

“My personal opinion is that when government agencies come to people who illegally break through the border, people who burned checkers in Parliament, when there were children, then it is unacceptable”, — said Gerasimov Agency “UKRINFORM”.

We will remind, last Tuesday, several thousand people staged a rally in front of Parliament organized by the party “Samopomich”, “Batkivschyna” and “new forces” of Mikhail Saakashvili. The protesters demanded repeal of parliamentary immunity, to create anti-corruption court and to introduce changes to the electoral law.
