The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko told about the achievements and changes in the past 2018.

Poroshenko said that progress was made in modernising the economy and infrastructure, reports the website of the President.

“2019 is not only prepared in the Kremlin. Getting ready for this special year and we are in Ukraine. Despite the war, we launched and successfully implement the most ambitious and the most profound changes and reforms in its history. We have achieved significant progress in modernizing the economy and infrastructure,” – said Poroshenko.

The President noted that he had been curbed inflation, reduced fiscal deficit and a sustainable macro-financial stability.

Poroshenko said that Ukraine is clearly and specifically directed towards membership in the European Union and NATO.

“We are confident in the trajectory of economic growth. Launched the digital economy. And boldly and confidently look forward to the arrival of powerful foreign investors in Ukraine”, – he said.

President Petro Poroshenko has warned Europe that Russia is not going to stop only in Ukraine. The methods of Russian aggression change, but always remains stable only one thing – the lack of desire for peace.
