For the first time in the history of the two Ukrainian teams 18-year-old boys and year the Junior girls qualified for the final stage of the European championship.

It is a pleasant event occurred at the site of the Palace of sports “Dinamo” in Cherkassy, where was held the qualifying continental battles.

Our young men in the group confidently “dry” batch beat opponents from Georgia and Hungary, but losing in three sets to a strong Turkish national team, finished second. The pass to the final round, which will be held April 7-15, in Zlina (Czech Republic) and Puchov (Slovakia), excluding home teams, awarded to the winners of the seven qualifying groups, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Belarus, Bulgaria, Russia and Belgium. Also became owners of three second teams with the best performance – Germany, France and Ukraine.

A ticket to eurofinal under the guidance of coaches of our national team Sergei Violin and Denis Huy won these wards: Ilya Egoshin, Gregory Copin, Nicholas Bovsunovskiy, Stanislav Velichko, Vladislav Shchurov, Daniel Rivkin, Maxim Rudenko, Roman Andreev, Igor Ivanov, Ruslan Skoric, Denis Karpenko and Jaroslav Pilgun.

A maiden national team of Ukraine became the strongest in his group, taking the upper hand over Greece (3:1) and Latvia (3:0). Thus, it secured the passage in eurofinal along with the winners of the other quartets – teams from Romania, Italy, Slovenia, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Belarus. Plus there were three best second in the groups the teams of Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, and “machine gun” – Bulgaria, whose Sofia and Samokov 13-21 April will take the final tournament.

On the Playground of victory in our maiden team forged Daria Velykokam, Ekaterina Tkachenko, Valery Yakushev, Veronika Zhukova, March Fedyk, Diana okoro, Alina Lutsenko, Sabine Linnik, Ekaterina Guzhva, Valeria nudga, angelina Khmil and Victoria Polozhevets. Team to develop their action was led by Viktor perebeinos, Yuri Kvasnyuk and Yulia yakushova.
