On the well-known fast food sued for advertising in a concentration camp

The Museum at the former concentration camp “Dachau” in Germany, has filed a lawsuit against the restaurant chain Burger King for advertising on the site.
Administration of the memorial Museum did not like that the promoters of a chain of restaurants handing out leaflets in the Parking lot and leave advertising flyers on parked cars, reports German newspaper the Local.
The Museum has several times referred to the German office of the company with a request to stop such activities, but they were denied.
Representatives of the memorial Foundation of The Bavarian Memorials Foundation in the state court banned Burger King to advertise on the territory of the Museum their products. The court assured that the promotion of the restaurant in a place like this looks “disrespectful and inappropriate”.
Later, the attorneys for the restaurant succeeded in overturning the ban and promoters of the company again appeared in the Parking lot near “Dachau.”
As a result, the Fund has again filed a lawsuit against Burger King. The restaurant stated, “sorry that it came to court.”
