Oil exports from Russia to Belarus decreased significantly

Compared to January 2019, the difference amounted to 73.7%.

Oil exports from Russia to Belarus last January decreased to 73,7% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 407,2 thousand tons, while the planned volume of supply expected exports in the amount of 1.99 million tons, according to ria.ru with reference to the materials of the Central dispatching management of energy.

Including the Mozyr refinery in January was delivered to 66.1 thousand tons of Russian oil setting 1,105 million, the Novopolotsk refinery – 341,1 thousand tons when set 884 thousand.

Minsk and Moscow still failed to reach an agreement on oil supplies to the Republic. In the absence of supply contracts with Russia on 1 January stopped the flow of oil to both Belarusian oil refineries. A few days later the pumping of Russian oil to the plants have partially resumed. Consistent supply from Russia about 750 thousand tons of oil in the first quarter. Meanwhile, Belarus has purchased about 86 thousand tons of oil from Norway, with delivery through the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda by rail to the refinery in Novopolotsk.
