Most of the passengers crashed in Tehran Ukrainian plane were Iranians and Canadians

(updated) There is evidence of the nationality of passengers and crew.

The majority of the Ukrainian passengers of the plane that crashed in Tehran, were citizens of Iran.

This was announced by the head of Iran’s management of emergency situations, RIA Novosti reported.

The NSDC of Ukraine said that on Board the aircraft of Ukrainian airlines UIA, which today crashed in Iran, there were 11 citizens of Ukraine.

The rest of the passengers on Board the Boeing 737 were foreign citizens:

Iran’s citizens – 71

citizens of Canada -73

the citizens of Germany – 4

citizens of the UK – 3

citizens of Sweden – 8

the citizens of Afghanistan – 6.

Earlier in the organization “Red Crescent” of Iran, said that the likelihood that crashed in Tehran Ukrainian aircraft were real passengers, equal to zero.

Ukrainian plane Boeing 737 belonging to airline “Ukraine International Airlines”, crashed after takeoff from the airport of the Iranian Imam Khomeini.

First came the information that on its Board there were 180 passengers and crew members. Later in minamiarai Iran said that the plane was 167 people. According to preliminary information IRNA, the plane went to Kiev.
