Ukrainian kid Elina Svitolina Gael Monfils spoke about his chances to win at Roland Garros. The Frenchman was quoted by Lequipe.

“When I say I want to win Roland Garros, you know that this is hard, I have about as much chance of winning the lottery.

We need to win Rafa, who never lost at Roland Garros. I didn’t win it on the ground. We need to beat Tim, which I never won, he is second or third in the world on clay. To beat Novak, which has never won many matches.

Still need to defeat the guys from the top 10, which is incredibly good. And then all the young guys and the French, who also want to perform well.

We all know that it’s very hard. What I want to win Roland Garros, not empty words, I want to believe it and get the chance, I want to say to yourself: “Maybe I can handle it”.

We will remind, Monfils reached the semifinals of the tournament in Dubai.
