The President of the United States Donald trump at a meeting with Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak explained why he fired James Comey as Director of FBI. “I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, just crazy” – leads the publication the words of trump at the meeting on may 10 at the White house. “I was faced with huge pressure from Russia. That’s it, and removed”, – said the American President interlocutors. He stressed that against him investigation is not conducted.

Information publication confirmed by two officials, one of whom read excerpts from the document, and the other confirmed the General thrust of the conversation. The third source of the newspaper noticed that trump probably took the conversation in this way from tactical negotiating considerations. Expressing serious pressure because of Russia, the American President allegedly tried to obtain concessions on other issues in the negotiations with the representatives of Russia, suggested Sobesednik NY Times.

Press Secretary of the White house Sean Spicer has not denied this information. According to him, James Comey this investigation contributed to the fact that trump has been largely associated, discussing with Russia the topic of Syria, Ukraine and the fight against terrorisom. He added that the dismissal of the Komi Republic investigation has not stopped, but again found the sources of information leaks from the White house.

Media previously wrote that Comey was fired a few days after asked for additional funding from the Department of justice on investigation into the alleged “Russian intervention”. This, however, has denied the Ministry of justice.

Then the same New York Times wrote that trump allegedly tried to persuade the Komi Republic to terminate the investigation against his former national security Advisor Michael Flynn. Komi, according to the newspaper, considered the request improper.
