Maxim Martyniuk told about the main trends in the agro-industrial exhibition “AGRO-2017”

The exhibition “agro-2017” took place on 7 to 10 June in Kiev. It is the largest in the Eastern Europe area, where present the latest developments of the industry and the products for agricultural production. It’s 29 in a row exhibition. Participation in the event was attended by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and first Deputy Minister of agrarian policy Maxim Martyniuk.
In the framework of the exhibition the exposition was divided into several topics. The main objective of the various exhibitions to showcase innovations in the field of livestock, new agricultural machinery, modern agricultural technologies, which are used in all sectors of agriculture. The number of visitors reached 50 thousand people. 1000 participants from 15 countries presented their products. The exhibition area amounted to 25 thousand m2.
One of the tasks “agro-2017” is presentation of new products. However, all is not limited. The exhibition aims to stimulate business relationships between participants. By holding round tables and panel participants were able to obtain detailed information on the state policy in the agricultural sector.

Martyniuk said at the exhibition opening. In his opening remarks, he noted the special role of the technological and innovative component of agricultural production. If in previous periods the resource component was important, but now technology come out first. According to first Deputy Minister, the task of Ukraine is to be an active participant in this process, otherwise it threatens the loss of positions in the global agricultural market.
Martyniuk said that such international events are very important, because they not only open up horizons for close cooperation with the world agricultural leaders. At the same time they contribute to the competitiveness of the agricultural sector in Ukraine.
