On December 5, the IOC Executive Board decided to disqualify the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC). It denies the right team to compete at the Olympics-2018 in Pyeongchang to show their flag and anthem. On 6 December it was announced that the Russian authorities do not inhibit the participation of athletes at the Games in Korea.

– As an athlete, I think that I would agree to act as spent four years of my life and because I am a very ambitious, – TASS quoted the Fourcade. – In these Games, the Russian athletes will compete as “Olympians of Russia”. The IOC found a solution, they are not just neutral athletes. Personally, I under such conditions will go to Pyeongchang.
