Registration ends on V Lviv Media Forum. This year one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe events on media and media will bring together more than 100 speakers from 15 countries.
Inaugural speech at the Lviv Media Forum will say 2017 Professor at Yale University Marci shore. On the main stage of the forum will be generation battle between political journalists Sergey Rakhmanina and Pavel Kazarin. During the first two days the audience is waiting 4 public talks Michael Weiss & Ivan Yakovina, Konstantin Eggert & Suzanne Scholl, Alexander Tkachenko & Andrey Kulikov, Katarzyna kwiatkowska-Moskalewicz & Otar Dovzhenko.
Traditionally in Lviv Media Forum to one (-Oh) of Ukrainian journalists will be awarded the prize named after Alexander Krivenko “For Progress in journalism.” The Freedom lecture will be delivered by poet Boris Kherson.
Individual cases will present in parallel thematic threads such as “Investigation” and “Business journalism”, “Media”, “Digital journalism”, “Reporting”, storytelling has been a peoples, “the Media and Reform,” “Cultural journalism”, “Regional media.” A separate discussion will be dedicated to public broadcasting in Ukraine.
During the forum also held several side events, in particular the screening of the nominees for an Oscar Anna Polak’s Something Better To Come, a lecture by a leading BBC World Aldi Hakim, DATA event from TEXTY.ORG.UA the presentation of the online tutorials for Teens “Mediadrive”, a panel about the coverage of minorities.
