Against mobile operators Kyivstar, Vodafone and lifecell opened the case, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. They think that the 3 mobile operators, there are signs of violation of legislation on protection from unfair competition.

Recently, operators have introduced a 4-week billing plans. Now take a fee for 28 days instead of calendar month 30-31 day. Thus, in a year “got” an additional month, and subscribers instead of 12 subscription fee are required to pay 13 times.

“In their explanations of the operators stated that legislation, the estimated period of one month set by the subscription fees. Also pointed out that they have another form of payment – “payment for package of services”, therefore, this statutory restriction does not apply to their new tariff plans. Thus, in particular, it was noted that “the concept of fees for service has a different legal nature than the monthly fee,” wrote on his page in Facebook Maria Procyshen, state Commissioner of the AMCU.

It does not fit into the logic described in the explanation of each statement. They all even in its communication on the introduction of a 4-week settlement period wrote opposite the payment of “fee”, – said Procyshen.
