High quality feed for laying hens from “Oklanderlig” received an international certificate

Feed mill JSC JV “Vesna 21” received a HACCP certificate which guarantees the production of safe feed for laying hens.

The company supplies high quality feed for the main poultry farm of agricultural holding “Avangard”, included in Group of companies Oklanderlig (Ukrlandfarming) Ukrainian businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk.

“We produce over 200 thousand tons of feed for chickens a year, and they all come at the poultry farm “Avangard”, which produces the largest number of eggs not only in Ukraine but also in Eurasia, says the Director of JSC JV “Vesna 21″ Maxim Velichko. – When we submitted the application for certification for HACCP, we sought to gain evidence that our feed is safe. Forage quality directly affects the quality of eggs and egg products. Now our customers in Ukraine and abroad can be sure that we adhere to the highest international standards.”

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is an international system of risk analysis of dangerous factors and critical control points in manufacturing, which is especially important in food production. Within the Group of companies “Oklanderlig” experts, who conducted studies on the HACCP system, analyzed the entire chain of production of eggs from feed production to their delivery to the poultry farms and feeding the bird. According to the results of the research feed mill JSC JV “Vesna 21”, which is located in the village of Humentsi of Kamianets-Podilskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region, produces high-quality and safe food.

“To export eggs, you need to comply with many international standards, quite high. This also applies to sanitary work environment and conditions of poultry and animal feed that we feed the hens – said head of PR division of the agricultural holding “Avangard” Marianne Konin. – Of course, feed is a very important link, and obtain the HACCP certificate is a “green light” to increase the export of eggs to the European Union where such a requirement is the key for suppliers of eggs.”
