Ukrainian men’s team lost their first game of Eurobasket-2017 – at the start, the Ukrainians failed to beat Germany.
It is reported by the basketball Federation of Ukraine.
Ukrainians quite confidently started the match and even the Germans first had to take a timeout. Unfortunately, after the rivals have added to the stiffness started to reduce the backlog. And after half of the second quarter for the first time the Germans came forward.
At the same time Alexander Mishula regained the lead for the Ukrainians, but the skill of Dennis Schroeder allowed the opponent to finally come out ahead in the end of the second quarter. In the end, the big break, the Germans had 6 points advantage.
After lag 4:9 at the start of the third quarter the coach of the Ukrainians Yevhen Murzin took a timeout. However, to radically change the game failed. The match ended with result 75:63 (9:16, 30:17, 19:14, 17:16).
In the next match Ukraine national team will play against Italy. Beginning at 18:30 on 2 September.
