The first butt match for the right to play at the 2018 FIFA world Cup between Croatia and Greece in Zagreb ended in a major victory for the home team – 4:1. On the goals of midfielder Luka modrić and forwards Nikola Kalinic, Ivan Perisic and Andrei Kramaric the Greeks only answered with exact blow of defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Note that in the 89th minute of the match came on the pitch the midfielder of “Spartacus” Mario Pasalic, who replaced Luka Modric.
The return leg in Greece will be held on November 12 and will begin at 22.45 Moscow time.
