Junior national team of Ukraine (players born in 1999) brilliantly completed the first stage of selection for the European championship in 2018. In the final match of the wards Alexander Petrakov met with the national team of Montenegro and got a crushing victory with 4:0.

Our players managed to take the lead midway through the first half: 18 minutes, scored Dynamo’s Sergei Buleza. In the second half the yellow-Blues managed to again score against the Montenegrins. On 68 minutes, a corner kick ended exact impact of the Shakhtar forward Oleksiy Kaschuk, substitute in the first half, when put on hold on the card Yuri Kozyrenko. Feel confident, Kashchuk managed to score again in the 81st minute to make the score devastating. After that Montenegro finally fell down and missed again with a penalty scored Kornienko.

Thus, the Ukrainians took the first place in group 12 with nine points and confidently advanced to the elite round games which will be held in the spring of 2018. The draw will take place on 6 December in Nyon. Our team at “dispersion” will fall into the first or second basket.
