Scientists from the U.S. proved good in people much more than evil.
The psychologists gathered a group of volunteers from different parts of America and conducted personality tests, says Frontiers.
In the survey participated 1518. Scientists wanted to understand what features predominate in these people – dark or light.
The dark triad of personality is a group of traits, which includes narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy. Bright triad scientists have included humanism, Kantianism (people are not perceived as a means to an end, but as an end in itself) and faith in goodness.
First, the volunteers answered some questions about the level of education, the financial side of life, marital status etc. Then psychologists serially measured prevalence have dark and bright features.
It turned out that on average 1.3 times the light closer to the triad than to the dark. The true villains in the sample almost was not.
Scientists say that light does not exclude the dark triad, and Vice versa. There may be signs of both groups of traits, but one of them inevitably prevails.
