The poles called Russia’s aggression against Ukraine in the Azov sea when the Russian military fired at the ships APU and illegally seized Ukrainian sailors, the most important international event in 2018.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted in late December by the Center for the study of public opinion of Poland.
According to respondents, the most important event in the country was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of restoration of independence of Poland (40%). In the international arena the most important event of last year, the poles recognized the attack of the Russian fleet in Ukrainsky ships in the sea of Azov (6%),
– stated in the message.
In addition to the attack on Azov, the poles called an important international event in 2018 is also the aggressive international policy of Russia in General, the holding of the climate summit in Katowice, the US agreement with North Korea and a British exit from the EU.
At the same time, the most important domestic events in Poland, besides the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of independence, called local elections in the country and problems in relations of Poland with the EU.
What happened to the Azov sea?
25 Nov in the Kerch Strait the Russian border guard ship rammed the RAID tug of the Ukrainian military. It is known that 2 of the Ukrainian military small armored artillery boats and offshore tug went according to plan and in accordance with international standards from the port of Odessa to the port in Mariupol.

Russia also is not the first month blocks in the Azov sea, foreign ships bound for Ukrainian ports. In consequence, the Ukrainian economy bears heavy losses.
