2017 Alfa Jazz Fest in Lviv: the program and dates of the festival

2017 Alfa Jazz Fest in Lviv – the home of jazz festival in Ukraine. It will be held from 23 to 27 June – Lviv on these dates will take thousands of tourists. All tickets are already sold out, which is not surprising, because the program this year was a pleasant surprise.
Alfa Jazz Fest 2017 will last for 5 days in three large stages: the main stage name of Eddie Rosner in the Park. B. Khmelnitsky (entrance by ticket), the scene in the Market square and the scene in the courtyard of the Potocki Palace (free entrance). At the international festival in open-air will feature more than 100 musicians. Already known the full program of Alfa Jazz Fest 2017. Authoritative British newspaper the Guardian made the festival one of the ten largest in Europe.
The first headliner of the festival was announced winner of two awards “Grammy” Gordon Goodwin”s Big Phat Band. The orchestra of 20 people combines in his music the swing 30-40-ies and modern styles, funk, jazz fusion. And one of the most anticipated concerts at the Alfa Jazz Fest 2017 will be the concert of the legendary band Chick Corea Elektric Band. In addition to concerts of jazz musicians from around the world, during the festival there are jam sessions, master classes and autograph sessions of world jazz stars.

Ticket prices at Alfa Jazz Fest 2017 (concerts on the stage name of Eddie Rosner) in the range of 1250 – 6500 UAH depending on the date and selected location. However, despite the information on the website of the festival, all tickets are already sold.

Alfa Jazz Fest 2017 will be held in Lviv for 5 days from 23 to 27 June
Note, the first Alfa Jazz Fest Lviv was adopted in 2011. Since then it was visited by more than 220 thousands of music lovers, every year the festival is gaining popularity and momentum. The festival unites free and progressive. His regular guests are all Ukrainian “elite” – politicians and officials, businessmen and foreign diplomats, cultural figures, media representatives and international guests.
He founded Alfa Jazz Fest Mikhail Fridman, businessman and philanthropist hailing from the city. Although most of its States he and his partners earned on the territory of the former USSR, and Friedman himself now lives mainly in London, the festival aims to promote Ukraine and Lviv in particular.
